In 2021, after a conversation with State Representative Francesca Hong, a local restaurant owner and admirable leader, I got my first restaurant job. I quickly became infatuated with service, with food, and obsessed with the feeling providing good hospitality gave me. My ballet background has instilled in me discipline, detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure in every role. Over the past five years, I’ve built a strong foundation in restaurants, developing a deep respect and passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest experience. Most recently, I’ve been part of the Michelin-starred team behind Galit, contributing to the successful opening and operations of their new Chicago concept, Café Yaya. In addition to my restaurant work, in close collaboration with my former coworker Dieder Maas, I have organized a series of prix fixe dinner events called "Friends and Food"
My Dream is to open a restaurant that is as dedicated to its employees, culture, and community as it is to its hospitality.
